A Christmas Beauty Gift Guide

A Christmas Beauty Gift Guide

“Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas…”

It’s that time of year again, and we all know what that means…It’s time for my 2017 Beauty Gift Guide! Woo! Beauty products are some of my favourite gifts to buy for my friends and family. I can’t deny it; I’m a complete sucker for Christmas gift sets. The packaging, the mini-sized products, the limited edition scents; I’m ALL for it. So If your stuck for gift ideas for a beauty addict in your life and need some inspiration then you’ve come to the right place! Have a read through my top Christmas gift ideas that would be perfect additions to any beauty-lover’s stash.

Eye-Shadow Palettes

Christmas is one of the best times of year for purchasing eye-shadow palettes (not that there is ever a wrong time!). Eye-shadow palettes can be quite pricey so they make perfect, luxurious gifts for your loved ones. One of my favourites is the Charlotte Tilbury ‘Instant Look in a Palette’. This palette is a true all-rounder. It has 3 high-quality eye shadows, 2 blushes, a bronzer, and a highlighter. That’s literally 7 products in 1 for only £29. It’s a no-brainer! I use mine almost everyday and its a lifesaver for anybody on-the-go like myself. CT sells so many more high-quality eye-shadow palettes that any beauty-lover would enjoy. Check out her website here to shop them!

Apart from Charlotte Tee, You can never go wrong with an Urban Decay Naked Palette. Since I purchased my first UD Naked Palette back in the day, they’ve brought out SO many more versions such as the Naked 2, Naked, 3, Naked Heat, and so on. My personal favourite is the Naked 3 palette which includes lots of high-quality rose/pink toned eye shadows which can be dressed up for a night out or dressed down for everyday wear. Its an absolute staple in any make-up lover’s kit.

Just like Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills know how to put together a killer make-up palette. With their extensive collection of eye shadow, brow, contour, and highlighter palettes, there really is something for everybody. The ‘Modern Renaissance’ eye shadow palette is a cult classic among make-up lovers and an ideal gift for your avid eye shadow wearers. The palette is packed full of richly pigmented colours ranging from high-quality neutrals to bright pops of colour. It’s definitely something a little different but equally versatile. Their highlighter palettes are also to die for. They come with 4 stunning highlighter shades that would make every complexion glow. My favourite kit is ‘Sun Dipped’ as it suits my skin tone best. But if your buying for somebody a little bolder and braver than myself, the ‘Moonchild’ glow kit is definitely the one.

Lipstick Gift Sets

Christmas isn’t always about cracking out that red lip. Brands work their butts off creating some of the most stunning lipstick kits for the festive period (and it pays off!). MAC have to take the cake on this one. Their ‘SnowBall Mini Lipstick Kit’ comes with 12 mini MAC lipsticks featuring some of their most popular shades (with a few limited edition ones for the holiday season!). It’s a total winner for any make-up lover. I mean, who doesn’t love a MAC lipstick?

Like MAC, Charlotte Tilbury do some of THE BEST lipsticks on the market. And any chance to nab them in their cute, festive packaging around this time of year is a total YES from me. This year, she has SO MANY lipstick gift options to choose from such as the ‘Lip Archive’, ‘Mini Celebrity Lipstick Charms’, ‘Mini Lipstick Charms’ and so on. However, if your feeling a little luxurious this year and want to purchase something that’s going to make any lipstick-hoarder cry tears of joy, the ‘Hot Lips Luxury Collection’ and the ‘Luxury Lipstick Wardrobe’ are the ones.

For a more budget-friendly lipstick gift set, NYX have got you covered. They have tons of fab lipstick sets to choose from that will have any beauty-lover drooling such as the ‘Matte VS Metals Lip Vault’. I’m a huge fan of their Soft Matte Lip Creams, so naturally I’ve been eyeing the ‘Soft Matte Lip Cream Vault’ this year. I swear it has EVERY shade in there. I think this set is what lipstick heaven looks like!

Nail Polish Gift Sets

I don’t know about you, but I love receiving nail polish gift sets for Christmas. They’re something that I never think to buy myself so it’s super lovely when I’m gifted them. My favourite sets usually come from Essie because the colours are always perfectly coordinated and more often than not, I usually end up wearing every colour all year round. This year, their ‘Christmas Mini Quad’ set and ‘Gel Couture Duo Christmas’ set are perfect stocking fillers.

Shower, Bath & Body Sets

What is Christmas without a decent bath and body set? There are SO many fab ones to choose from this year. I’ve been drooling over the Zoella ‘Snowella Treasure Me’ Gift Box which is packed full of some of Zoe’s most popular bath and beauty products in a new, gorgeous Christmas scent. It’s got everything in it to make your loved one feel spoilt and pampered this Christmas. I know I’ll be adding it to my list too!

I’m a huge fan of the Soap and Glory Christmas gift sets. My family know how much I LOVE their products and are always kind enough to leave me one under the tree. This year, their ‘Winter Wonder Glam’ set has got me majorly excited. It’s a HUGE kit full of their most popular make-up items including their dreamy blusher ‘Love at First Blush’ and some of my other favourites such as the ‘Thick and Fat’ mascara and the ‘Archery Brow Tint and Pencil’. But as for their bath and body products, their ‘Spa of Wonder’ Gift set is the ULTIMATE bath and body set. Like their ‘Winter Wonder Glam’ set, it features some of their most popular bath and body products IN FULL SIZE with a few extra make-up bits in there for good measure. It’s perfection in a box. And can we just talk about the packaging for a second? Stunning, as always. Well done, S&G.

Apologies in advance for the dreadful Christmas pun… but that’s a wrap! I hope this has given you a huge burst of inspiration for what to buy those beauty lovers of yours. I know I’ll be adding a few…or maybe a lot of these to my Christmas list this year!

Have a Merry Christmas!
